This United Nations report has named New Zealand as the most co-operative economy in the world.

Paradoxically recent OECD reports and economists during the past year have drawn attention to New Zealand’s continuing low productivity

The co-operative part of our economy referred to in the United Nations report is mainly at the supply, purchasing, marketing and distribution levels of business.

The most dramatic improvement in productivity will be achieved when the co-operative culture occurs at the employee level.
